Alia Bhatt To Team Up With The Lunchbox Director
Alia Bhatt is making some unique career choices, alright!

If you thought Gauri Shinde's Walk And Talk with Shah Rukh Khan was an unusual pick
(Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt in Karan Johar film, August 19), let us tell you that she has given her nod to yet another interesting project.

We hear, the actress is likely to lead the cast in Ritesh Batra's next Bollywood venture. Yep, he's the same guy who gave us the brilliant and much-celebrated The Lunchbox.

Karan Johar, who had co-produced the Irrfan Khan-Nimrat Kaur starrer, will be producing the Alia starrer too. The offbeat romantic drama is slated to start only next year.

Batra is currently holed up in Britain to direct The Sense Of An Ending based on Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name by Julian Barnes. The film has a stellar cast in the form of Jim Broadbent, Charlotte Rampling, Emily Mortimer (Shutter Island, The Newsroom) and Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey).

Alia too is busy with multiple projects lined up - Shakun Batra's Kapoor And Sons, Shuddhi with Varun Dhawan and the Gauri film. Incidentally, all three of them are Dharma projects. Some loyalty, huh!
